CAROLINE WEBBER - PSYCHOTHERAPIST |
I will be taking a break over the Christmas period. My last day is Thursday 19 December 2024, first day back Tuesday 28 January 2025. You can still book appointments for next year online. Wishing everyone a safe and happy start to 2025! My name is Caroline Webber and I am a Registered Psychotherapist. My approach is to help people of all ages with their mental and emotional health. This is crucial for building healthy relationships with self, family, friends, and peers. Often we experience events in our lives that challenge our ability to cope, especially when they appear too overwhelming to handle alone.
As a therapist, my job is to listen and meet you where you are thereby creating a healthy and safe therapeutic relationship. In building the relationship, we will work together to devise a plan for healing and developing personal strength. Through the therapeutic process, you can learn to grow emotionally and move forward with confidence as you work to build a life of your choosing. Self-awareness, personal insight, and a renewed sense of direction are all possibilities through therapy. I incorporate a number of counselling techniques into my practice, dependent on individual circumstances and therapeutic needs. An integrative therapeutic approach is taken to address abuse, anxiety, trauma, addictions + more, which may include but not limited to Narrative Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Polyvagal Therapy and Family Systems Therapy. My approach is always person-centred and based on the recovery model. Prior to moving into Psychotherapy I worked in the book publishing industry in Australia, USA and Europe. As a mother of two young adults I understand modern school and university life, and the pressure that comes with it. Life can get complicated, so I am here to help people gain the confidence to overcome their difficulties to thrive and prosper. Qualifications: BA (Classical Art & LIterature), Bachelor of Psychology, Graduate Diploma of Counselling & Psychotherapy, Master of Counselling & Psychotherapy. Member of ACA (Level 4, Clinical). |
